Both Series Production and Made to Measure versions of the Larbus table are made with a fixed frame.  Whilst it is possible to separate the table top and base whilst accessing interiors, it is important to refit the top to the base to prevent any movement over time.

It is also possible for the factory to make a Larbus bench; they recommend this is made a little shorter than the corresponding table length.  Please contact us for details.

Oak tables and benches by Heerenhuis are finished with three layers of invisible matt varnish and should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. The varnish contains a UV filter which prevents any yellowing of the oak in sunlight. No need to oil or revarnish.

Particularly during the winter, but also when using air conditioning, relative humidity must be kept in mind.  Relative humidity should ideally be between 50% and 60%.  Less than 40% can lead to various types of damage, mainly cracks.

Heerenhuis make contemporary furniture in the traditional way, using authentic materials.
